Joseph Solis

Joseph practices within the financing team. His practice focuses on commercial real estate law, with a particular emphasis on transactions. He works with banks, institutional and private lenders as well as borrowers in granting or obtaining financing for real estate assets. He advises them on setting up and negotiating various securities and guarantees. His practice also includes representing buyers and sellers in real estate acquisitions and sales.

Joseph is a graduate of the combined Bachelor of Law and Master of Business Administration co‑op program at Université de Sherbrooke.

Leff Baud

Leff Baud is an associate in the firm’s civil and commercial litigation group, where he concentrates his practice on real estate, construction and condominium law. He represents and advises a diverse clientele, including real estate developers, property managers, commercial tenants, and co-ownership syndicates — and has developed a specialty in drafting and negotiating commercial leases.

He assists his clients in both non-contentious and contentious matters, guiding them from risk prevention and strategy development to representation before the courts. He continues to build his experience by regularly appearing before various administrative and civil courts in Quebec, including the Tribunal administratif du logement, the Court of Québec, the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal.

Prior to joining the firm, Me Baud deepened his interest in litigation through moot-court competitions, legislative-drafting contests and trial simulations. He remains actively engaged in the legal community as a member of the Research and Legislation Committee of the Young Bar of Montreal and contributes to the work of the Association des Syndicats de Copropriété du Québec (ASCQ).

Me Cartier earned a certificate in business administration at l’École des Sciences de la Gestion (ESG), before pursuing his legal studies. This unique combination of legal, business administration, and disciplinary knowledge provides him a multi-dimensional perspective in the analysis of legal and commercial issues.

Within the scope of his practice, Me Cartier represents and advises various parties in the field of real estate law, particularly in divided and undivided co-ownership law. Me Cartier also represents various parties in the construction sector, primarily entrepreneurs, developers, and individuals.
Drawing on extensive experience in professional law, Me Cartier represents and advises numerous professionals before the disciplinary council of professional orders.

In addition to being an excellent negotiator, Me Cartier litigates before the various judicial authorities and disciplinary cuncil, which constitute a significant part of his practice.

Me Camille Nantel is part of the financing team at the firm.

She’s a graduate lawyer from the University of Sherbrooke and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2022.
In her practice, she assists various lenders with the setup and negotiation of securities and guarantees, whether in commercial or multi-residential matters.
Before joining the firm, Me Nantel represented several developers and entrepreneurs before Québec courts. She also advised numerous clients in the context of business sales or acquisitions.

In addition to her practice, Camille has provided many training sessions for the APCHQ.

Pierre-Olivier Fortin

Me Pierre-Olivier Fortin is a lawyer in the litigation and condominium law team at the firm. He primarily practices in construction law, real estate law, and shareholder disputes. Throughout his career, he has represented various clients, including contractors, residential and commercial property owners, as well as developers, before civil courts in the province, particularly in proceedings such as injunctions, seizures, and protective orders.

After obtaining his law degree from the University of Sherbrooke in 2013, Me Fortin quickly established his own practice, where he worked for several years before offering his expertise and services in the public sector, particularly in construction and public contract awarding. Since 2022, he has returned to private practice, specializing in litigation.

His practice is characterized by a pragmatic and personalized approach. Me Fortin focuses on legal strategies based on efficiency, rigor, and result-oriented outcomes.
